These badges were attached to the school hat band and adorned the straw hats worn by Williamstown High School girls in the 1950s and 1960s.
Metal badge enameled in red, yellow and black. 'Hold Fast' across bottom, 'WHS' across yellow anchor. Three metal hooks around edge to allow badge to be sewn to hat band.
