The photograph is one of a series of 6 which feature the Sunbury Railway Station complex. The complex includes photographs of the railway station with the wooden pedestrian bridge which has been demolished and two photographs of the water towers. The photographs were taken before the railway land on the west side of the line was developed to make way for a supermarket complex in 2000.
Physical description
A view of the brick and iron water tower which is sited on the Bendigo side of the Sunbury Railway Station. The brick structure at the base has 3 arched recesses across the front and two at the side. Two of the railway buildings are visible on either side of the tower.
