Several articles from Ringwood newspapers and the Argus (images attached) show the initial idea as Nov 1933 (3000-01 Ringwood Baths-Idea.jpg), Commencement in January 1934 (3000-02 Ringwood Baths-Start.jpg), and operational by November 1934 (3000-03 Ringwood Baths-Operational.jpg). Fred Dwerryhouse swimming pool in Ringwood built 1970s was a popular and well used venue until it was demolished in 2013 to make way for a new pool. Fred Dwerryhouse was a Town Clerk of Ringwood 1959-1968.

Swimming Certificate for the Borough of Ringwood Municipal Baths. Proficient in swimming in 66 yards, 200 yards, and 400 yards and 1 mile and Life Saving Tests. Two good B&W pictures of Town Hall and pool.
Sample swimming certificate, cardboard, with two B&W pictures on it. At the top is a picture of the old Ringwood Town Hall, and at the bottom a picture of the Ringwood outdoor swimming pool and building.
The Ringwood Baths were constructed in 1934 in Ringwood Street and donated by Captain E.T. Miles. Brochure sets out reasons for supporting the pool - free swimming tuition, hot and cold showers, and inclusion in championship carnivals put on by the swimming club.

A recount of votes in Loughnan's Hill Ward failed to overturn the result in the most hotly contested ward of last weekend's first Maroondah Council elections.Despite attracting only 1014 first preference votes - fourth highest - Joe Cossari went on to win Loughnan's Hill by 247 votes from former Ringwood councillor Yvonne Kaukas after preference votes recorded by six other candidates were distributed.
