Top centre- corner Warrandyte Road & Woodside Ave. White railing centre right is on the bridge across Mullum Creek. Adelaide St ran from Maroondah Highway to Reynolds Ave. Bridge later washed away- 1931.

Several articles from Ringwood newspapers and the Argus (images attached) show the initial idea as Nov 1933 (3000-01 Ringwood Baths-Idea.jpg), Commencement in January 1934 (3000-02 Ringwood Baths-Start.jpg), and operational by November 1934 (3000-03 Ringwood Baths-Operational.jpg). An Argus article (via Trove) from 15 Mar 1934 describes a union complaint about use of workers on sustenance in the construction.(3000-04 Ringwood Baths-Complaint.jpg)

Fred Dwerryhouse swimming pool in Ringwood built 1970s was a popular and well used venue until it was demolished in 2013 to make way for a new pool. Fred Dwerryhouse was a Town Clerk of Ringwood 1959-1968.

Swimming Certificate for the Borough of Ringwood Municipal Baths. Proficient in swimming in 66 yards, 200 yards, and 400 yards and 1 mile and Life Saving Tests. Two good B&W pictures of Town Hall and pool.
Sample swimming certificate, cardboard, with two B&W pictures on it. At the top is a picture of the old Ringwood Town Hall, and at the bottom a picture of the Ringwood outdoor swimming pool and building.
The Ringwood Baths were constructed in 1934 in Ringwood Street and donated by Captain E.T. Miles. Brochure sets out reasons for supporting the pool - free swimming tuition, hot and cold showers, and inclusion in championship carnivals put on by the swimming club.
