Historical information
The students from Bulla Primary School were taken on a nature excursion to a nearby nature park as part of their scientific and environmental studies. They were studying the number and types of insects that could be found in the plants and water in the area. The park ranger then asked them to identify any insects on the chart that they found.
Significance
Nature and environmental studies give the students of the importance of caring for the environment and are included in their science work.
