Historical information
Agee jars, known for food preserving, originated in New Zealand and were initially recognizable by their banded collar neck and glass lids. The company later transitioned to screw-on metal lids, releasing the Agee Utility jars around the 1940s or 1950s. These jars are a piece of New Zealand's canning history, with older models featuring glass lids and the newer ones using screw-on metal lids.
