This swimsuit belonged to Merilyn Case (nee Aldred), who grew up in Sandringham. BHS also has a swimsuit belonging to her mother, Jessie Aldred.
One-piece halter-neck swimsuit with sweetheart neckline. Deep blue with gold central panel and halter strap. Low-cut back.
Triangular label features a picture of a mermaid above the text "MADE IN ENGLAND".
