Symbol: A crown, symbol of authority, indicated that the wearer has occupied the chair of King Arthur. This was worn over the emblem of any office to which he may have been appointed to later. How elected: Automatically, by virtue of having been a Knight/Esquire/Page Commander. Duties: To share with his successor the advice and experience gained during his own term and to set an example to more junior members. The reward for loyal Christian service is more service and it is the duty of the Past Knight Commander to make available his counsel and experience to his successor. This does not mean running the Court from the back seat. It means taking an active interest in the Court and Companions and being always readily available to help where required. Dark hardwood ornately carved high backed chair with two arm rests. The chair includes two worn leather cushions on the bottom and the back. There is a small metal plaque at the back with the manufacture's details.
Communion set used in The Wesleyan Jubilee Church Toorak Church which was built in 1877. The church was illegally demolished by developers in 1985.
Dark timber and brass communion rail. The rail has timber top and bottom rails together with corner and middle supports. It has a brass finish and vine motif.

Octagonal varnished wood font with a fitted lid. The lid has a large brass knob on the top secured by three screws and the front a small brass plate on one side. Each of the other seven sides have carved two carved leaves. The font is on one single turned wood leg which sits on an octagonal base. The inside of the font contains a copper bowl. There is a support for the bowl which must be a later handmade addition to the font as it is made of plywood. The manufacturers name is on the inside of the lid.
