Alice Bertha Schwerkolt was the second daughter of Louis and Francesca (nee Both) and the granddaughter of August Johann and Paulina Schwerkolt. In 1913 she married William Tanner.|The donor Rosemary Tanner had married Edgar William Tanner and is the daughter-in-law of Alice Bertha.
Physical description
It has long sleeves with a pigeon point front and a 'hobbled' band of lace around the skirt at knee height. Decorated with lace on front of bodice, collar and 'hobbled' band.
