Gwenneth Horman was Lady Mayoress of Ringwood when her husband was Mayor and was involved in many local oganisations

Allan Carter, Richard Carter's Father was a prominent business man and resident of Ringwood . The article describes how he was intrumental in obtaining the land for the school as one of the Formative Committee members. Also a member of the school's first Council and then the Chairman of the Building Fund. Richard Carter followed in his Father's footsteps in the Real Estate business. He was also the President of the Ringwood Historical Society for many years.

Two and a half page A4 bifold tribute from companions and members of the Melbourne Walking Club with a photograph of Albert on front in a bush setting and loose page insert of order of Service. During Albert's time in the Walking Club he blazed the trail of many cross country walks around Healesville, Mount Donna Buang, Mount Juliet, Mount Buller and the Jamieson River. He was cared for in Donwood Nursing home, Croydon, at the end of his life.

The late Mrs. Pollard was the wife of Frank Pollard of the Pollard Family who were early orchardists in Ringwood.

Mr. Pullin who lived in Mulum Road was the husband of Ellie Pullin President of the Ringwood Historical Research Group. He also was a valued member of the group.

Rose Paris and her husband had an orchard at the corner of Wonga and Oban Roads. She left an estate valued at over 11 and a half thousand pounds in June 1923.

Kevin Pratt was one of Ringwood's best known residents when he died at the age of 77 in 1987. An amputee from the age of three he overcame his own physical handicaps and went on to encourage and help the youth of the district. He was President of the Ringwood Football Club for 25 years. His memory is perpetuated by a pavillion in Mullum Reserve which bears his name. Mr Pratt's Funeral service in Our Ladies Church in Bedford Road was well attended. Guest Speaker, Peter Hanson grew up in Warrandyte surrounded by signs of gold mining activities including in his own back yard. In this presentation, Peter talks about the numerous diggings in the area, with images, maps and drawings of the mines, tunnels, shafts and structures above and below ground.

Building report Ringwood East Reserve from C Merry, Building Surveyor and Mr Lucas to the Mayor and Councillors Borough of Ringwood 17/7/51. Building can be jacked up and reblocked where necessary. 300' of flooring is necessary in the west section. Roof, spouting and downpipes require overhauling. Needs some repair work inside and outside. Estimated cost 220 pounds.
A report to the Mayor stating it was decided a Committee of Management be appointed to manage the East Ringwood Reserve. The objects of the committee is to act under the authority and subject to control of the Council of the Borough of Ringwood as the Local Board of Management and to act as an advisory consultive and operational Committee, to lay out, and effect improvements and works of beautification, ornamentation and use for the benefit and enjoyment of citizens and to keep and maintain such Reserve in good order and condition and raise funds for improving and mataining such Reserve. The Committee shall consist of two Councillors and Town Clerk and two representatives from each: Football Club, Cricket Club, Tennis Club and Progress Association and 2 Citizens.

The Mullum Mullum Bridge can be seen in the dip, with numerous houses on the ridge on Whitehorse Road (Maroondah Highway). The fencing was post and rail, with Warrandyte Road unmade, sealed with crushed rocks.
