Robin Gerard Penleigh Boyd was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Letters on the 21st day of October 1967 at University of New England. The family attended the outdoor ceremony and have slides of Robin Boyd in full academic dress. The Academic dress hood is part of the Walsh Street Archive (item F069). Zelman Cowen was Vice Chancellor at University of New England 1967-1970. Robin Boyd designed Zelman Cohen House at 34 Yarravale Road in Kew in 1959.

Certificate from The University of New England, with University crest, signed by two people. Rolled into a red leather cylindrical holder with Robin Gerard Penleigh Boyd embossed in gold along long axis (item F168).
