Historical information

In 1961 Robin Boyd designed the Tower Hill Reserve Visitors Centre to fit naturally within the surrounding terrain. The building’s shape reflects a volcanic cone. The windows allow a 360-degree view of the park. The Centre opened just after Robin Boyd’s death in October 1971.
