Artwork, other - Stained glass window, Brooks Robinson & Co, Holy Spirit, 1933

Historical information

This window along with the second window in the baptistry was donated by an anonymous donour.

In Christianity, a dove is widely used as a symbol for the Holy Spirit, primarily because of the biblical account where the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at his baptism in the form of a dove, signifying purity and innocence associated with the bird.
