Historical information
Mechanical Engineering Department Ballarat C.A.E. Final Year Report submitted by John Barker, 1984. The Report was "Internal Combustion Engine Driven Heat Pump". His supervisor was L E Taylor. The location of the experimental rig was in the Thermodynamics Laboratory at Ballarat Council of Advanced Education. This project involved the design, construction and limited testing of an Internal Combustion Engine Driven Heat Pump, utilising full waste heat recovery, for the purpose of heating mains supply water.
