Menzies Creek primary School opened on 15th April 1882. The front entrance by the square water tank was used by the teacher to gain access to the residence, and the children entered the classroom by the side entrance. The building was destroyed in November 1935 in a fire caused by a workman's blowtorch.

Colour photograph of a fundraising wine bottle label promoting the centenary of the Menzies Creek State School. Label is off-white with red printing. 'GORDO RIESLING/An unusual blend/ of Gordo and Riesling grapes specially/ prepared, giving a Moselle style taste/with a pleasant Dry Riesling finish, and ready/to be enjoyed now./The grapes were grown and vintaged at/ Angove's Renmark vineyards.' The label features the (then) school logo, designed to mark the school's centenary, with artwork by Tanya Mayer and Konrad Matta.

Black and white photo of Frederick William George Woods, b. 1889, Auburn, Vic., (parents William John Woods and Ada Maria Woods nee Smith), d. 16th August 1951, East Melbourne. He was an estate agent in Camberwell. He married Eva Victoria Crowhurst Plummer in 1913 and they had four children, Fred, Jack, Marjorie and Betty (the future Mrs John DeCoite). The photo shows a young man with dark, wavy hair. He is dressed in a three-piece suit and tie.
Black and white photo of Eva Victoria Crowhurst Plummer, b. 6th Sept 1890, Kensington, Vic., d. 20th July 1985, Ferntree Gully, vic. She married Frederick William George Woods in 1913 and they had four children, Fred, Jack, Marjorie & Betty (the future Mrs John DeDoite). After the death of Fred in 1951 Eva resided at the family's Belgrave Heights holiday home until her death in 1985. The photo shows a young woman with dark hair. She is wearing a high-collared dress trimmed with a crocheted or tatted one-piece collar. She has long earrings with several small stones.
Black and white photo of William Plummer (1855-1924). He was a solicitor at Thompsitt & Co, Oakleigh, and handled all Sir Matthew Davies' (1850-1912) legal work. He and his wife, Mary Ellen Plummer, nee Crowhurst, holidayed at "Lockwood", a Davies property, with their daughter Eva Victoria Crowhurst Plummer. The photo shows Matthew apparently sitting outside at a small table. He is pouring a drink into a glass from a small jug held in his left hand. He is smoking a pipe and is dressed in a suit and tie.
Black and white photo of the house at 3 Convention Ave, Belgrave Heights (previously called Lockwood Rd), which was built in May 1935 as a holiday house for Eva and Fred Woods who, with their children, spent holidays in the Lockwood/Belgrave Heights area. Today it functions as the main office for the Belgrave Heights Convention. After the death of her husband, Eva Woods lived permanently in the house.

Narre Warren East School operated from 1912 to 1987. The school building on Wellington Rd, Narre Warren East now functions as a childcare centre.

Black and white photo of the Smith family house on Park Drive just past Belgrave Lake Park. The House appears to have an enclosed verandah. A man, possibly Oscar Smith, is looking out of the window and a second person, possibly Pam Harris's sister, is also looking out. Below them, two young people, a boy and a smaller girl, are standing in the garden. This was possibly the caretaker's place. '1627' is stamped on the back of the photo. To the right of the image are two adults standing on the spillway. The person on the right is male but the other's gender is uncertain. Between them and the children is what looks like a large portable radio. Behind the group is a heavily treed area which includes three or more white-trunked trees close to the spillway. In the distance is a white house with a verandah running across the front. This house belonged to Laura (surname unknown) before WW2. The house appears to be (now) 30 Judkins Ave.The photo has a white border and on the back is printed '1627'.
