A mug made for the staff/community party to mark the end of the Shire of Sherbrooke municipality after amalgamation with Lilydale, Healesvill and Upper Yarra councils to form the Shire of Yarra Ranges in 1995.

Inscriptions & Markings

On one side says "Sherbrooke Farewell" on other side "Shire of Sherbrooke 1964-1994" with the Shire of Sherbrooke Lyrebird logo within a circle. Underneath "CS Hose Glassware Pty Ltd Glass and Ceramic Decorators Est 1945 ph 03-7811966. Blank made in China designed and decorated in Australia."

Chip basket (shallow), made to be used in a frying pan. Made of plated steel. Belonged to Elizabeth Cox who emigrated from England in 1958 with her entire household equipment. It was donated by her daughter, Susan Heywood-Downard after her death.

Belonged to Elizabeth Cox. Her daughter believes that it was used in England to make chips in a large frying pan. It formed part of the household items package brought to Australia in 1958 she believes. It was used until around 1990s.

Wire basket constructed to hold up to four milk bottles for when the milkman delivered bottles to houses. Before delivery, people would put empty bottles in the basket to be replaced by full bottles.
