Historical information
The man in the photograph is Alan McKenzie a long time resident of Bulla. He was a guest at the official opening in Bulla of the Alister Clark Memorial Rose Garden on 12th December 1999. The garden is in the grounds of the former Shire of Bulla council offices. Alister Clark developed many varieties of roses at his property, 'Glenara' in Bulla.
Significance
The establishment of the Memorial Rose Garden in Bulla acknowledges the contribution made by Alister Clark to gardens in Victoria.
