Historical information
The first church for St Chad's was completed and opened in August 1914. The building was a wooden structure capable of seating about 150 people. The Church was built in Thames Promenade, Chelsea.
In 1953 plans were made to build a new Church. A Chancel and vestry were erected and in 1965 work on the church building was completed.
