Quilt came out from England in 1910 and has been in constant use by World War I veteral until about 1985.
Physical description
Central area of quilt made up of long hexagonal patches (5.5 x 10 cms) and smaller diamonds. Patches in a variety of cotton and wool mixtures of fabric which looks like it came from mens nightwear and warm shirts. Outer border badly damaged. Lining, pink cotton with navy lining in squares. Wool batting.
