This passbook belonged to Stanislaw "Stan" Pierzak & Teodozja "Lottie" Pierzak (Nee Szalac), two Polish immigrants who settled in Compton Parade Sunshine North in the 1950's. They raised two children, Helina & Jon. This passport covers the period May 1958 to February 1990 including the important period when Australia converted to decimal currency. The donor Joseph 'Joe' Wlodarczyk married their daughter Helina.

Significance

The passbook shows regular savings by the owners Stanislaw & Teodozja Pierzak, two married polish immigrants who came to Australia after World War 2.
