According to https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/268300 "FHA pins were purchased by Freemasons to support the Freemasons Hospital and to discreetly show membership of the organisation. The pins were purchased at a local lodge level, with each lodge having a member designated as a Freemason Hospital representative."
