These four photographs of Photo Troop personnel dismantling the Consolidation Camera was taken in December 1989. The camera was removed from Lithographic Squadron’s BARCRO work area. Analogue large format cameras had become obsolete with the introduction of digital generation large format digital scanners and computer-based post processing of photography.
Physical description
This is a set of four photograph of Lithographic Squadron personnel dismantling the Consolidation Camera at the Army Survey Regiment, Fortuna, Bendigo, in December 1989. The photographs are on 35mm negative film and scanned at 96 dpi. They are part of the Army Survey Regiment’s Collection.
