Inspired by mid-century architecture and design, Habitation is a series of abstracted architectures that speak about the optimism for the future that was felt in the post war years. The work is recycled from old sculptures with some of this material cut up from work that has been exhibited at Montsalvat previously. I like that my work has a ‘cradle to grave’ life cycle, taking its past into the future. The architectures are painted with Dulux Colour Forecast for 2023.
