Artists statement

New FuturesTM is a short film that uses found commercial stock footage to explore the socio-political conditions of late capitalism. This film tells the story of a biohacking company that can medically upgrade personalities. Successful individuals are traded as financial stock until a group of disgruntled hackers endeavour to disrupt the system. Kosloff’s film explores competitive individualism, personal branding and the struggle for subjecthood in a hyper-digitalised world.
