Historical information
Gwen Mousley donated the documents to Sunshine & District Historical Society. The Diocese of Melbourne closed and sold the church building. It was still there at 2 Miles St, Deer Park, for many years but suffered damage by vandals and finally burned down.
Physical description
Letter from Brimbank City Council, with reference to the Church of England Trust, Deer Park. The letter reported that the church and hall were in ' relatively good condition'. The Council letter included a brief outline of the history of the church and the community of which it was a part in 1891 and in later years. There are two photographs of the church (photocopies), one taken inside and one outside. There is a list, probably compiled by Gwen Mousley, of items acquired for church use between 1940 and 1972. A bundle of papers; 8 pages + some duplicates.
