Has come to the Sunshine & District Historical Society from Gwen Mousley. It may have come to her from her father, Mr J.E. Mousley, who was an active member of St John's, Deer Park.

Physical description

* Church monetary collections - open and by an envelope system. The notebook names clergy and stipendiary readers and other readers. The records include reference to Rev. B. Reddrop, Rev. Thompson, Rev. Townsend, Rev. R.F. Adams, Mr G.B. Sambell, Mr Dann, Mr Gritton, M Clifton, Mr Hill, Mr Carter, Rev. Vizard, Mr Gugger, Mr Fletcher, Rev. G. Pearson.

* Personal notes on vestry meetings and annual meetings (selective)

* The period dealt with is 1937-1954 but the material is not all in chronological order.

* A small, old black notebook with some of it having a red edging. It is likely that one section of the same size has been put into the original book.

* The book, with entries spread over nearly 20 years, has a definite value.
