Significance

Laurie Russel worked for the SEC for 'yonks' in the field of electronics. He and his wife were interested in the arts and were involved in the introduction of the Mt Beauty Music Festival.
N. V. Hansted was possibly an electrical engineer for the SEC. He met and married Wendy and retired in Mt Beauty. Wendy was matron of honour at the hospital. It was her second marriage.
