The item is a mixture of Military and RSL service.
The Medallion at the top has around the edge, "Centenary of the Government of Victoria 1851 - 1951". In the centre of has, "Awarded to G.R. Wheeler Esq for 25 years service to the Returned Servicemen".
The bottom inset has the following.
Badge, "8th Australian Infantry Regiment". (George served in pre War)

Framed timber with a fawn colour back ground with a medallion at the top followed by a photo inset, at bottom inset are a set of medals and 6 various badges.
