Historical information

This booklet was published c.1910-20 and possibly used throughout the 1920s as a promotion for tourism in East Gippsland. It is a visitor guide for anyone coming to East Gippsland. It concentrates on a remote section of Victoria which as just beginning to open up to tourism.

Significance

This booklet is significant because it is an example of an early publication to promote tourism in the Orbost-Cann River-Mallacoota area of East Gippsland.
