Physical description
This item is a framed landscape oil painting. On its reverse are several pieces of handwritten annotation. It is accompanied by a small piece of card with further handwritten annotation. There is an artist's signature in the bottom-right. The painting depicts three trees and a cottage on flat ground, separated by a fence. The foreground shows red earth - possibly a road - with patches of grass, and trees with white trunks and leaves a blend of red and green. The cottage is white with a red roof. Behind the fence and the cottage, the field continued - with occasional dispersed trees - until the background rises to a hill or mountain.
