Furniture - ARM CHAIRS

Historical information

These Arm chairs were originally placed in the foyer entrance many, many years before the SMI became a Museum in 1998. Members would sit in the Foyer for a chat or when waiting to see the Dept of Vet Affairs person who sat in the Meeting room regarding veteran's issues. When the building became a Museum they were used by visitors who needed to rest or the Museum volunteers. The Museum had them recovered in 2014 at a cost of $1,230.00. They are now placed around the Museum for visitors to sit on.
