Bendigo Advertiser. The main focus of this edition was the unveiling of the scale replica of the White Hall Cenotaph in London at Charing Cross Bendigo on June 2nd 1957
The two photos on page 1 shows the people gathered at the Cenotaph and Sir Edmund Herring unveiling the Cenotaph.
Page 3 has 3 photos. Sir George Lansell sitting listening to Sir Edmund Herring, Sir George handling over the Cenotaph to Cr Craig and the Citizens of Bendigo, Mrs G Hudson laying a wreath on behalf of the Women’s Auxilliary Bendigo RSL.
