Folding tripod with khaki coloured wooden legs reinforced at pointed end with metal. Each leg attached to head with metal hinges. Head has threaded pad to hold heliograph. No protective cap for thread. Chain for cap loose. Webbing sling attached. Sleeve at end of sling to hold tripod closed.
Stamped on one hinge: ' STAND LAMP OR HELIO. A. MK.III R.M.B. 1942.
