Based on a study by the author from 1979 to 1992 inclusive. Covers all places within a specified area in the Atlas of Australian Birds, centred on Emerald and including Gembrook. Description, habitat and behaviour are based on sightings recorded during the study period unless otherwise stated. Dough Twaits was a long-time resident of Emerald.
