A study of seven late nineteenth century Victorian nurserymen, including Carl Axel Nobelius, Emerald. Undertaken as a basis for an assessment of the cultural significance of the former nursery sites. Includes also reproductions of several Nobelius family papers. Help in compiling the report was given by Emerald Museum with the loan of catalogues and ledgers (then president Fred Hellriegel).
