One of a series of booklets produced by the Monbulk Historical Society on local history. Tells the story of Parson Jack's Gully, on the outskirts of Monbulk, where gold was mined. The gully was named after prospector 'Parson Jack' Emerald, believed to have given his name to Emerald Creek, after which the township of Emerald was named.
