Newspaper clippings and newsletters relating to aged care services in Emerald and miscellaneous articles relating to aged people. The Alice Berry Nursing Home, named after Mrs Alice Berry, mother of Emerald landowner, was situated in Kings Road, and later operated as Emerald Aged and Health Care Services. It closed in 2003 when Emerald Glades opened for residential care in Emerald-Monbulk Road. Chestnut Gardens aged persons units opened in Westlands Road in December 1989.
