Historical information

The book was used between 1936-1937 by Dr William Bottomley at Mary Street, Emerald. Dr Bottomley was a member of a syndicate who bought land from the Nobelius Nursery and was involved in the founding of Emerald Country Club.

Physical description

Soft cover day book containing hand-written entries of expenditures, used at the 'Homestead at Emerald'. The cover is khaki coloured with a red spine. Loose receipts and bank statements are also stored within the book.
