Historical information

The Emerald Young Farmer Club was located at the Emerald State School. In Circa 1951 the education department created a special insurance Policy to cover casual labourers at all schools. The policy made it necessary that all casual labourers be employed by the school committee.

The book is historically and socially significant as it details the accounts and meeting minutes of the Emerald Young Farmers Club.
