Inscriptions & markings

Official Catalogue Entry:
"Before our family holiday in 1991 in New Zealand, I made contact with other button collectors and we then visited them. Loma had commissioned a friend to paint the native national Kowhai flower on 2 black buttons for me. The little national Kiwi bird was a gift from a more recently acquired New Zealand friend Erin Titmus from Auckland. She comes over and stays with us every second year, to attend The Needlework Tool Collectors Association Conference, and brings me button treasures☺"
