Inscriptions & markings

Official Catalogue Entry:
"Whilst visiting Grant and Mary to garner information for an assignment for my degree I inquired about his button making. He asked Mary to fetch the box with the remains of his production and told me to take what I wanted. I was overwhelmed but selected one of each design and one complete set, to use as a reference source. I was also given a door knob and some jewellery pieces!
How generous, what a lovely experience, and memory."
