Has form number "TYE 3-570" in top left hand corner. Space for an expiry date to be stamped on the ticket and name, address and school of the student. The 1969 Schedule of Fares and Charges shows these tickets. 1728.1 - ditto, ticket No. A7423. Added 16/10/04 - after being on display in cabinet in 39 since 1992. 1728.2 - ditto, ticket No. A7382. Significant for shows the form and method of issuing a certificate of service for a specific person, his duties, and performance. Signed by the person who received the form. Shows that the person was retrenched by the SEC prior to final closure of the tramways.Single sheet of off white or light grey paper, titled "Certificate of Service" prepared by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SEC) for 'Dallas John Everett". Pre printed certificate form "FMI 5-190 R2". Occupation given as "Driver/Conductor, Tramways" for the period from 19/9/1967 to 3/8/1971. Gave conduct and ability as "Satisfactory" and reason for leaving "Retrenchment". Issued on 5/8/1971 by Personnel Superintendent. Has D. J. Everett's signature on left hand margin. Significant in being a roster rotation sheet that issued prior to the reduction in services - date unknown and also a different way of doing things compared to other sheets. Also shows conductors.Single sheet of off white duplicating paper titled "Motormen/Conductors' Rotation Roster and Conductors' Rotation Roster S.134". S134 is a form number? Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number operated by Motormen / Conductors on a particular table for the day of the week. Thought to predate items in Reg. No. 2293 or 2294 as it shows both conductors and drivers (motormen), possibly the second last roster. Collected by the tramway Superintendent.Single SEC 16c ticket - yellow ink on off white paper, denomination 16c, lettered A521544, headed State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Provincial Tramways. On rear in yellow ink is a SEC advertisement "ELECTRICITY makes life easier" with the SEC's little boy wrapped in a towel logo. The ticket number is in black ink. Murdoch, General Manager of the TB Melbourne regarding the controversy with the SEC regarding the possible takeover by the SEC of the Ballarat and Bendigo power supplies and the trams. 1973.1 - Letter from ESCo to TB dated 19/7/1927 and received by TB 21/7/1927 forwarding some cuttings regarding the matter (see Reg. Item 1973.3 and 1974.). Each ticket medium weight card, on pink card and printed on black ink to give day numbers, monthly, week number, transfers and day of the week, excluding Sunday. Numbered on the right end of the ticket. Static number (1 - 7) on the left may be to indicate the day of the issue. On the rear of the ticket are the details of the ticket use, allowing passengers one return journey between City and section 3 or 4. Not available on Sundays. Form Number TYE 3-13 Note: 1. See Reg. Item 230 on page dated Feb. 22 for another two weekly tickets, c1950, price 2/6 - similar to these, but used. Page 38 of Ballarat Tramways has a photo of the 2/6 weekly ticket, with a note, used about 1950's. See also Reg. item 2102, 2103, 2104 and 2105. Scarlet cloth lined paper ticket with white front, printed in black ink with fare value of 4/-. Blank or Unused Scholar's monthly ticket for use by under 15 years students, numbered A01831, 33 and 34. Has form number "TYE 2-13" in top left hand corner. Space for an expiry date to be stamped on the ticket and name, address and school of the student. Demonstrates ticketing systems in Ballarat and in particular the use of a tourist ticket to enable people to travel around the whole of Ballarat on the trams. Yields information about the ticketting system and how surplus stocks were overprinted for future use. The same ticket stock could be used in all three of the SEC provincial tramways.Set of four SECV - Ballarat Tourist Tickets - 1/- on light weight card, light manilla colour - printed originally for the years 1944, 1945 and 1946, overprinted in red ink for 1947, 1948 and 1949.
