Demonstrates aspects of the Ballarat Tramways at the end of the 2nd world war - when the tramway traffic was still high. Gives details of rosters arrangements for crews and shows how the roster system worked at the time.3419.1 - Single sheet of off white duplicating paper titled "Motorman/Conductors' Rotation Roster", dated July 1946. Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number that an employee would do for a particular week and day of the week. Has dated of "July 1946" and initials "M.M." in top right hand corner. 3419.2 - ditto, but for Conductors. Runs end in letter C. See also Reg. Gives a list of names of people who worked on the Ballarat trams in the final 19 months of operations, some personal information and grade.Carbon copy of a typed list of SEC Ballarat Tramway traffic list dated 5 Feb. 1970, with hand alterations. Titled "SECV - Mid Western Electricity Supply Branch - Tramways Traffic Personnel (Wages)", gives a list of names, traffic number, position, date joined, date of birth, date passed as motorman, long service leave (taken or entitlement?) and whether a returned soldier - using letter "R.S." The MV Duntroon is of historical and social interest to Queenscliffe primarily due to its involvement in the collision and loss of all hands of HMAS Goorangai near the Rip.
