Carter & Sons, RESI) containing various plans, title and notes on the development and extensions to the house, of significance because it was the home of Liberal Parliamentarian and leader of the Liberal Party Sir Billy Snedden.(1926-1987). Built in 1947 by A.V.Jennings for J.M.C. Pratt. Sir Billy and Lady Snedden bought the property in 1963 and Lady Snedden sold it in 1997.

Stereo-graphs were popular 1850 - 1930 Most stereoscopic methods present two offset images separately to the left and right eye of the viewer. Stereo-graphs feature two photographs or printed images positioned side by side about two and half inches apart, one for the left eye and one for the right. When a viewer uses a stereoscope, a device for viewing stereo-graphs, the two-dimensional images are combined by the brain to give the perception of 3D depth. The London Stereoscopic Company quickly developed technologies for mass - producing stereo-graphs; and between 1854 and 1856 the company sold over half a million stereo-graphs. Small, hand-held metal and timber steroeographic view-finder. The metal goggles are engraved with a free-flowing design. The rim of the goggles are covered in red velvet. A timber handle is attached with a metal hinge to the timber extension that has a wire frame to hold the stereo photographs. The Boggy Creek Bridge was built in 1916 as part of the Bairnsdale to Orbost extension to the main Gippsland Railway, and is situated in the middle of the township of Nowa Nowa, crossing a steep-sided and well-timbered creek-valley. This section of the line closed in 1987.This bridge plays a major part in the identity and history of the town of Nowa Nowa, since Boggy Creek’s steep sided valley divides the township into two components. 1917 was the year in which the new Mission at 717 Flinders St extension was being built but did not open until after Michaelmas that year. The old Mission opened in 1907 on the Australian Wharf was obviously still in operation. Proposed remodelling of the wharf necessitating removal of the Mission perhaps deferred due to the Great War.This detailed poster intended for visiting crews in 1917 provides some insight into the fact of continued access to the old Mission required circa 1914 by the Port Authority to be vacated. This extension table was used as the dining table in the Boyd's Camberwell home. The legs were cut to create a coffee table when it was moved to the Walsh Street house. It was placed along the west facing windowall in the study in Children's Pavilion. This is a port crock with No. 89 of a special edition of 150 crocks commemorating the restoration of the Old Sunbury Court House. The restoration of the old courthouse which was built in 1885 with an extension to the front and right hand side added in 1965 before the courthouse closed in 1989. The courthouse was restored and reopened in February 1993 as the Visitor Information Centre.The Sunbury Court of Petty Sessions building was built in 1885. Extensions were added in 1965 with the courthouse closing in 1989. After the closure local residents formed a committee to save the courthouse and for it to be used for the benefit of the community this was achieved and with the Shire of Bulla council help was restored and the building reopened as the Sunbury Visitor Information Centre in 1993. The photograph shows the extensions that were built on to the former Shire of Bulla offices in the mid 1980s. The building with the curved wall and glass tiles was where the Shire of Bulla held their council meetings. The Victorian state flag and the Shire of Bulla flags are hoisted on the poles and the bust of George Evans, an early European settler in the district is on the RHS of the image. Thornton-Pickard was a British camera manufacturer which was established in 1888 and closed in 1939. The company was based in Altrincham, near Manchester, and was an early pioneer in the development of the camera industry. The Thornton-Pickard company was founded by John Edward Thornton and Edgar Pickard in Manchester,. Also referred to as a Magic Lantern Projector, the Ruby enlarger was used to project images from glass negatives using a variety of light sources and eventually adapted for electricity.. As photography technology developed the size of slides became smaller and the "magic lanterns" were replaced by more compact film and slide projectors.This item is significant as it represents a step in the development of photographic technology and home entertainment in the early 19th century.A large photographic enlarger made primarily of wood, tin plate and glass. The enlarger is fully intact and has the original patent and registration on a badge attached on one side. The enlarger extends when in use but folds up accordion style when not required. Its length at maximum extension is 90 centimetres.
