Ephemera - Set of 8 dual currency tram tickets, Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB), 2/1966
When Australia changed from imperial currency to decimal currency on 14/2/1966, a well-planned operation of conversion took place. This involved changing public transport tickets as well, especially those where a printed value was shown. The MMTB printed dual currency tickets as part of the process.
