The persecution produced the original of this map as an exhibit for the Treason Trials of thirteen of the Eureka Stockade in Melbourne in 1855. Witnesses at the time accepted that the map showed the location of the stockade at Ballarat and the route taken by the military and police when the stockade was attacked on 03 December 1854.
