The photo of the family group is at an annual Ithacan picnic held in the 1930. Behind the group are family cars which reflect the increasing economic prosperity of members of the Ithacan community. Many, however, travelled to the picnic in hired vans and later chartered buses. A sepia photograph with a white border of a family group sitting in front of a 1920-30s motor car. Five ladies are sitting on the footboard while two men and another lady and three children are sitting on the grass.

Written on M&MTB letterhead, with "Dear John" and author's signature "Bob Risson" handwritten in. Has been folded into four for posting. On quarto size paper, with watermark "Loganvale / Parchment / Made in Britain". Risson) to Deputy Chairman, about a suggestion by Mr. Grimwade about running boards and the width of trams. Notes Chairman's view that the policy of running boards was deliberate in order that cars collided with them first rather than the tram body. On blue paper. Signed by the Chairman. Rose Series postcard No. P 10531 titled "Swanston St south from Lonsdale St Melbourne". Trams in the view are W class No 337 (St Kilda Beach) with men standing on the footboard, and W Class No 350 (Coburg), both without route number boxes. There is an early MMTB bus heading south at Lt. Bourke Street intersection. On the left is the Worthmore Shore Store. A traffic policeman is on point duty. MMTB decal - "Please step inside" for the use on the exterior of tramcars, glued transfer adhered to a sheet of gloss paper on one side and plain on the other with the transfer instructions made by Selex Decal in the 1970's, with alignment marks on the rear. Has the Selex Decal logos on the rear and the number "098051751" along the bottom edge. Refer to MMTB Drawing R10-138 for a drawing.
