Ticket block headed Ballarat Tramway Museum. On the rear in black ink are details of the Ballarat Tramway Museum, web address etc. Notes that the design is based on an ESCo lunch hour ticket design. The 100 tickets have been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple and a small cardboard retaining strip at the top of the ticket. Ticket Numbers 000001 to 0000100. Demonstrates part of the evolution of Ballarat's trams when they were drawn from cable trailers of North Sydney for use as the central section of ESCo's Ballarat trams.4373 - Black and White sepia coloured reproduction (copy by scanning and reprinting) of an image of "The Sandhurst & Eaglehawk Electric Tramway" battery tram, with five men (two in uniform) standing alongside. Fitted to carriages and tramcar bodies built by Benjamin Carne in Strathfield NSW. The central saloon section of ESCo No. 12 was built by this builder in 1892 as a North Sydney cable tram - see Conservation Plan for ESCo 12. Understood that he went bankrupt and moved to South Africa. Located by descendents and donated to the Museum August 2026.
