The 'Heroes of Hume' booklet was issued to coincide with an exhibition mounted in the former George Evans Museum in 2000. The exhibition featured information about 24 local people, who had contributed to their local area.A 26 page booklet featuring 24 head and shoulder photographs of people on the top half of the front cover and a black and white image across the bottom half of the cover of men working beside a traction engine bagging up hay. This booklet was produced by Hume City Council to commemorate the centenary of Women's Suffrage in 2008. It briefly tells of the efforts of the women who organised and petitioned for the rights of women to vote over many years. In 1890's women's signatures were collected and are recorded on the 'Monster Petition' which was presented to parliament in 1891. The booklet includes names of women from the Hume council region who signed the 'monster petition'. Some names of women in the suffrage movement. It also has names of women who became the first women appointed to various roles in government. This booklet was funded through the Victorian Government's Centenary of Women's Suffrage Grant Program and from the Victorian State government Department of Planning and Community Development.This is a small cream/brown coloured front cover booklet with signatures and area they lived printed on the front cover. This is a pamphlet about the Emu Bottom Wetlands where the platypus live and swim in Jacksons Creek. The Friends of Emu Bottom Wetlands is chiefly responsible for getting the Platypus Ponds Project going. This heavy seaal press would have been used to emboss impressions of the Shire of Bulla seal onto documents. This seal impressed "The Mayor, Councillors And Citiizens of the Shire of Bulla" and was used between 1989-1994.
