This text-book is divided into three parts: I. The Right-Angled Triangle; II. The General Triangle and Mensuration; III. The General Angle and Compound Angles. This corresponds to the Matriculation and School Certificate stage.

Significance

This text-book is significant as it was the book used by Mount Beauty High School students in the mid 1900's. It is also significant as it was used by I.Davies a member of a local family. And it also has good interpretive capacity.

Red cover, black lettering, embossed around a triangle, CAMBRIDGE MATHEMATICAL SERIES, with trademark in centre of triangle.

Inscriptions & markings

Pencilled name inside front cover looks like I.Davies.
